In 1927, during the earthquake of the Aurora cliff collapsed in front of the observation platform hung over the precipice. The castle walls were cracked, sharp spiers, crowning it broke down in the sea. Building condition it was found in an emergency and access to it is closed. In 1968 works were carried out but the strengthening and partial reconstruction of the Swallow's Nest. After the reconstruction of the access to the Swallow's Nest was reopened.
